Vintage Soviet Era Lightweight Pilot's Scarf

Measures 45 x 9 1/2" with 3/4" tassles at each end.

Made from a double layer of lightweight cotton blend fabric. This is an excellent scarf for wearing around the house this winter without adding irritating excess bulk.

There are large veins and arteries in the neck through which a lot of blood travels to feed the brain. As these are close to the surface of the skin the blood easily cools there and then cools the core of your body. Keeping your neck insulated therefore makes a surprisingly large difference to your overall warmth.
