Beautiful earrings hand made from vintage celluloid beads deeply carved with roses and cranberry pink glass beads, hand crafted onto 14ct rolled gold wires, spacer beads & ear hooks.

For pierced ears, the earrings have a 3.7cm drop measured from the top of the hooks.

Although these have been made with Art Deco celluloid beads & vintage glass beads originally from a 1950's necklace and Art Deco necklace, all the rolled gold parts are new and the earrings are unworn.

Gold filled jewellery, also known as "RG", "rolled gold" or "rolled gold plate" is composed of a solid layer of gold, bonded with heat & pressure to a base metal and is over 50 times thicker than gold plate, the gold in these earrings is 14 carat. Gold-filled items, even with daily wear, can last five to 30 years and give the appearance of solid gold.

I have been designing & creating jewellery for over 30 years. My pieces are made from sterling silver, Swarovski crystal, semi precious stones and a mix of vintage beads that I have collected over the years. These beads are in excellent vintage condition, I do not use beads with any major flaws. They do have a history and therefore may have a tiny flea bite or scratch but this just shows that they have been worn and loved.

All my designs are individually hand-crafted and due to the inclusion of vintage beads they cannot be mass produced and will sometimes be totally unique, you will not see anyone else wearing the same piece. As all my jewellery is handmade my designs can be customised to your specific requirements, please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any requests.
