Our Campervan Insulation offers a safe, sustainable and cost-effective way to insulate your campervan.

It is suitable for all vehicle applications, is non-irritant and requires no protective clothing when installing. It will not absorb moisture and does not support mould growth.

This insulation meets all the furniture and furnishings fire and safety regulations, including the British standard: BS5852.

To achieve maximum effectiveness, the insulation should not be tightly packed. Easy to install, users can push it into the cavities and adhere it with the "TRIMFIX" High Temp Spray adhesive, with each can covering an area of 3.5m².

This insulation can be cut using a straightedge and a stanley knife, or simply torn apart. Apply directly to the walls of the van, behind a 6mm plywood base layer. Or, for optimum heat and sound performance, use with our 7mm or 10mm Thermo Van Liner for a 2-layer system - See https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/334960346906

Size Guide:

Measure the length and width of the area where you will be installing the insulation. Make sure to include any raised areas or protrusions, such as wheel wells or seat bases, in your measurement.

Once you have calculated how much insulation you will need, add an additional 10-20% to allow for waste. This will ensure that you have enough to complete your project without running short.

What is Dacron?

Dacron is a brand of polyester fiber. It is typically designed for uniformity in texture and feel. It tends to be smooth, soft, and consistent throughout. The fibers are engineered to have specific properties, such as softness and resilience. Dacron is very similar to insulation made from recycled plastic bottles - though while also smooth and soft, the texture of insulation made from recycled plastic bottles might vary slightly depending on the source of the recycled material and the manufacturing process. It can sometimes be less uniform compared to Dacron.
