| This listing is for one (1) solid state 50W rectifier to replace the standard rectifier found on most positive ground 12-volt British manufactured motorcycles. This does not replace the zener diode. Lucas rectifiers are generally found near the battery area of your bike. They are a finned mechanism with a grounded center stud and 4 individual wires coming off each plate. Over time they are prone to malfunction, usually from vibration and/or corrosion. This little, entirely sealed solid state unit will solve that dilemma. The old Lucas rectifiers also tend to ground out and fry if they fall apart or a wire falls off. This is a safer alternative to avoiding fried wires. It will wire into your existing stock wiring harness. This solid state rectifier is only compatible with stock 12 volt single phase charging systems. It is not for use with High Output 3 Phase charging systems. Included are complete installation instructions. Measurements are approximate: 1" x 1" x 1/2". It has a hole through the center with grounding plate and will mount where the old rectifier was installed.
