1. Outside Antenna
Assemble the outside antenna and select a mounting location that is at least 12" from any other antennas.
2. Set-up Booster
Find a place to put the booster and tuck the cable from the outside antenna into the car trim, and connect it to the port labeled "outdoor antenna."
3. Inside Antenna
Mount the inside antenna either on the side of a seat or the dash and connect the coax cable to the cell booster.
4. Connect Power
Once you have decided the ideal location of each component, power the booster with the power supply and enjoy stronger cellular signal on all your devices!
Before you begin a permanent installation we recommend performing a soft installation by loosely running the cables and temporarily placing components.
The outside antenna can be mounted in any CB mount or antenna mounting point on the vehicle. For best performance, mount the antenna above the metal cab.
Antennas create spheres of signal, when these spheres overlap a condition called oscillation occurs. Oscillation can be thought of as noise, which causes the booster to scale down it's power or shut down to prevent damage. The best way to keep these spheres of signal from overlapping is to maximize separation between the inside and outside antennas.
A solid green light on the booster indicates that the booster is functioning properly and at maximum gain.
