Antique Japanese Imari plate with dragon 1760-90 mid-Edo #4706

Object: Imari plate from the mid-Edo period (1760-90), decorated in underglaze blue as well as overglaze colours and gold.

Decoration: A dragon amid clouds, chasing the flaming pearl.

Size: Diameter 21.5 cm (8.5").

Marks: A mark that looks like a bee (underglaze blue).

State: Excellent - no chips, cracks or repairs.
