About Zhu Ye Qing tea:
Zhuyeqing tea is relatively young compared to other famous Chinese tea.It was discovered by Foreign Minister General Chen Yi in 1964. Impressed by its quality, he enquired about it. When told it hadn't had a name, General Chen proceeded to name it Zhuyeqing, because the leaves resemble bamboo shoots. The Bamboo Leaf Green Tea comes from Mout Emei, the grown environment are over 1500 meters above the sea level and covered by thick fog, and heavy mist for most of the year. The nourishing moisture and the soil contribute to the good quality of zhuyeqing tea.

How to Brew Zhu Ye Qing Green Tea:
1. Rinse tea cup and teapot with hot water.
2. Use about 3.5 - 7 grams of tea leaves (2-3.5 teaspoons) for every 225 ml of water.
3. Steep tea leaves in hot water at 70.C (158.F) to 80.C (176.F) for 1 minute for the first and second brewing.
4. Gradually increase steeping time and temperature for subsequent brewing.
5. Refill when glass is still 1/3 full.
Storage:
Protect against the tide, peculiar smell, keeps in low temperature and refrigerates it.
