Mother and child belong together, as represented in this statuette hand-carved by artisan Agnes Amponsah of Ghana. The ebony wood statuette portrays a woman with a baby on her back pouring water into a pot. The name Afia, means "female born on Friday." This beautifully elegant statuette is the perfect addition to a family home.
