1965 (December) Fender Bandmaster 40W guitar amp head, with double input step-down transformer (USA 110V) for Australian 240V at the wall plug, and vintage replica tremolo foot switch which i bought and has correct RCA type connection to plug.
Note: Having this separate step-down transformer will stop any power surges/drops damaging the amp.
Valves: 2 x 6L6 valves are Sovtek, and 3 x 12AX7's are GrooveTubes, plus 1 x AX7 just says 'japan', these were ok'ed by Andrew Kay (see pics); included are spare 2 x 6L6 made in China which were in it when bought (which are bright/sharp, medium middle, minimal bottom end).
This is an original made for USA market 1965 Fender Bandmaster and not an export model, hence the ground cap needed to be replaced, which i have.
  Purchased August 2011 in Sydney.
Ive hardly used this hence this sale.
I had the original USA ground plug removed in Sydney then had it checked over by Andrew Kay a well known valve engineer on the south coast nsw, when i moved to the south coast nsw, when i moved to the south coast -pictured are the  original caps/resistors etc that Andrew replaced, which he returned showing very little wear/bubbling but of course because of age better replaced, NB. these are included with AB763 circuit diagram and Andrews report stating 'fully fuctional'.
Fender Tube Chart shows 'OL' being dec '65, and i taped the edges because they were curling (i should have taped a plastic sheet over chart).
This amp has NOT BEEN MODIFIED only original caps and resistors replaced.
This Bandmaster amp head works perfectly and gives the rich chime expected from these classic amps. The tremolo is beautiful with deep/wide wave form heard on classic songs from the era eg 'Crimson and Clover' by Tommy James and the Shondells, and 'Come On Back' by Paul and Ritchie and the Cryin' Shames. It has original piggy-back brackets underneath (see pics).
When playing (ive never been in a band) i would sit this on a folded towel on top of the Legacy Firebird 4 x 12 speaker cabinet, also for sale.
The pictures show typical but mild oxidation on some parts attached on the chassie although the chassie is in excellent condition.
The tolex surface is very good with a few scuff marks (see pic of left front), and the interior is clean.
Always kept clean and dry hence curling of the Tube Chart, being particular about moisture, its always wrapped in a large sheet in a dry room as with my other same items.
Any further information or pictures wanted please ask.
P.S. Note the misspelling of 'Colombia' on back plate, should read 'Columbia', as its an early CBS model, i noticed this when purchased but noone seems to show interest, even Fender USA. My intrigue i guess.
I can package this to anywhere, receiving and cost upto the buyer.
