A magnificent piece made in England by Spode in the "Shima" pattern. Beautifully hand painted and richly gilded by hand, it features a purest white bone china body, with gorgeous Imari decoration of plum trees and lotus flowers in traditional colors of cobalt, gold and russet.
Spode made slightly different variations of this item. I'm not sure of the exact differences but this one is # Y8172-B
The gravy boat measures 8 1/2" LONGEST POINT and 5" tallest.
The bottom plate is about 8 1/2" X about 6 1/2"
