The head design of the Aspirin Head Jig was originally the brainchild of legendary Dale Hollow smallmouth angler Billy Westmoreland. The head is round, thin and mounted vertically on the hook shank. This creates an enticing wiggle as it falls, rises, or simply swims through the water. 

 

Aspirin Jigs are used many ways from fishing live bait to swim baits, grubs and plastics.  They are excellent jigs for Crappie, Blue Gills, Perch, Striper, Walleye, Bass and many more.
