This a silver bowl with a lid. I have a metal detector that detects precious metal. It makes a certain auditory pitch for silver. The pitch that I get for pure silver bullion is the same pitch that I get for this bowl.

My metal detector, however, does not make the same pitch for this bowl as it does with silver plated items, so I believe this is a silver alloy and not silver plated. weight is 6.5 ounces.

The bowl is not magnetic.

Let me know if you want more pictures or to do tests on it. I don’t have any acid silver tests though.
