Antique Silver Sauce Boat

Birmingham, 1940

A good example of an antique Sterling Silver milk jug or gravy boat. It is a stylish piece with an elegant curved handle and three hooded feet. It is a good quality piece, weighing approximately 106g. 

It is clearly hallmarked for S Blanckensee & Son Ltd, Birmingham, 1940. 

It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and some minor signs of age and use and some areas of tarnish inside the base but nothing detrimental and it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished is ready for use.
