Presented is Russian Orthodox icon "Saint martyr Antipas". Russia, 19th century. Wood, tempera, hand paintedn on a leaf of silver. Size 40,5 x 33,5 cm (15.9" x 13.2") icon.
Very rare and nice piece of religious art.
The certificate is available upon request from Lithuanian Culture Department testifying the authenticity and age of the icon.
