Alfio Paolo Graziani (1900 - 1981): born in Roncoferraro in the province of Montova, Italy, in 1900. He studied art at the Cignoroli Academy of Verona, then at the Academy of Brera, where he was a student of Alciati and Cesare Tallone. In 1923 he participated in the National Exposition of Fine Arts in Brera and Milan, where he continued to exhibit frequently. In 1930 he exhibited in the Biennial Exhibition in Venice, where he also returned in 1932, 1934, and 1936. In 1940 Graziani was awarded the Sallustio Fornara Prize. A majority of his work was destroyed in the bombing of Milan in 1943 (World War II). In 1947, after living in Valganna, he settled in Gavirate. He continued his extensive exhibition schedule after the war, including at the Suzzara Prize exhibit in 1956.
