This company manufactured pressure gauges, so a scale (an a so monumental scale like this one) manufactured by Scaffer & Budenberg is really hard to find.

This apparatus is an industrial, extremely rare and antique hydraulic hanging scale made by Schaffer & Budenberg in Magdeburg-Buckau, Germany during the second half of XIX century. Really impressive and large device with a magnificent enameled dial (40 centimeters diameter) and a sophisticated hydraulic mechanism to weight until 5 tons. Body made in case iron. Great steampunk looking. This instrument is very heavy and weights about 80 lbs. Untested but complete and pretty sure it may works. Overall height is 56 centimeters.
