 Oil Painting Portrait of a Young English Boy

DESCRIPTION: Great estate find, we have an antique 19th Century Oil Painting Portrait of a Young English Boy for a BUY-IT-Now price of $795.  Unsigned, the young boy's portrait captures a faint smile and his dark eyes. He is wearing black coat with a white ruffled collar.  The rectangular frame with an oval opening is gilt wood. Painted on canvas, it has been relined to conserve the condition of the portrait.

MEASUREMENTS:  Framed, the portrait measures 24 inches high and 20 inches wide. Unframed, the oval portrait measures 17 inches high and 13 3/4 inches wide.

CONDITION:  It is in very good preowned estate condition consistent with its age. The painting has some craquelure and a couple areas on the background that appear to have been retouched. The gilt wood frame has minor surface cracking as shown in two of the photos. Please examine the photos as they are part of the description.
