Harvested in summer of 2022 solely in the state of Washington. These dried morels are all black, considered to be "burn" morels growing wild after a previous years wildfire. We dry them using fans, then vacuum seal and freeze to guarantee quality and shelf life. One pound of dried morels is roughly equivalent to 10# fresh ones, thus this two ounce package of dried morels is roughly equivalent to 1.25# fresh.

Best rehydrated with almost boiling water for about 15 minutes, then strain and reserve water as a stock after sifting through a fine mesh sieve or coffee filter. Once rehydrated the morels are cooked in sauces, braised dishes, and more.
