As I celebrate my 66th birthday this year and reflect on 27 years of selling my art, it's been quite the ride! Art buyers are wonderful! I did get my share of "you should have stayed in dentistry", mostly from my wife and mom.
When I started selling my art, I wanted to promise buyers that someday I would be famous and their painting will be worth millions. Instead, I promised that their painting would outlast their couch. I can now confirm that to be true.
