the #1 and #2 on the remote is for driver reference only. if you were to
program 2x #1 remotes, the 2nd remote programmed will become
the driver 2 memory position remote. if you were to program a 3rd and 4th
remote, 3rd would go back to driver 1, 4th would be the driver 2, both
being backup remotes. Capeesh?
