RouterRebooter
Risk Free
- "30 day refund" if you find the RouterRebooter does not work in your environment.
Uses
- This RouterRebooter monitors up to four definable URLs/IPs (could be website/s and/or equipment) and cycles power if unreachable (e.g. typically cycles power to a router and/or NBN modem or any connected device that is not sensitive to cycling power).
- Business:
- This RouterRebooter suits businesses that provide WiFi services to staff and/or customers (e.g. restaurants, resorts/hotels, AirBNB etc, offices), but does not want their staff wasting time rectifying WiFi issues or finds it too inconvenient/difficult to attend.
- There is also an optional feature to receive email notification whenever monitored URLs/IPs (could be website/s and/or equipment) are not responding (using a "check-in" method).
- The monitoring tool (RouterRebooter.com) allows a central group (such as an IT support business, department etc) to monitor several of these RouterRebooters on behalf of others.
- Home:
- This RouterRebooter suits home use, especially if you travel and need to remotely connect into your home network and/or access devices within (e.g. a surveillance camera), using a router type VPN and/or reduce the risk of inaccessibility whenever your WAN hangs (for example) and nobody is home to rectify the situation.
Main Features
- The RouterRebooter is an "all-in-one" unit with Australian power socket, plug and multi-functional reset switch (refer images), we believe is unique on the Australian market.
- Firmware (menu interface) is proudly written in Australia. This is not Chinese firmware.
- Easy to configure, Pop-up help instructions throughout the menu interface.
- Full Australian email support.
- 12 months return-to-base warranty. Excludes misuse, overloading or shorting the device.
- Securely remote manage several URLs/IPs under the same configurable Group Name.
- The ability to send emails when monitored URLs/IPs are not reachable (including weak WiFi signal, failing URL checking etc.)
- Uses a "check-in" method when checking for issues, that is, if the RouterRebooter fails to "check-in" to RouterRebooter.com, you will be notified via email when it went offline, then back online (with status information). This is an optional service and configuration required.
- The ability to reboot the RouterRebooter remotely (with or without cycling power e.g. you can also reboot the connected device/s as well).
- The ability to monitor up to four URLs/IPs (could be website/s and/or equipment) with either HTTPS or Ping (or both) to test internet connectivity. Using multiple URLs/IPs reduces false triggering. A number of allowable failed attempts can be configured (e.g. all four URLs/IPs need to be unreachable multiple times before cycling power).
- The ability to monitor up to four devices using Ping. For example, a WiFi camera or any other device that times out on a ping request when unreachable, not be sensitive to cycling power.
- Configurable remote management privileges to reduce risk.
- Built on Sonoff S26 technology, reliable hardware with over 500,000 units in use.
- Every device tested for WiFi connectivity and Remote Management before shipment.
Other Features
- Several configurable safeguards (e.g. multiple URLs/pings to check, multiple attempts, maximum number of power cycles before monitoring stops etc).
- Configurable Access Point including, SSID, Password, IP Address, Channel, Connections and Port.
- Hardware resettable Access Point password (just in case you forget the password). This feature can be disabled.
- Hardware resettable factory settings (just in case the Access Point configuration details are unknown). This feature can be disabled.
- The ability to configure WiFi Access by using a Static IP address, Gateway etc.
- The ability to configure the WiFi transmission method (e.g. 802.11b, 802.11g or 802.11n).
- Ability to install new firmware.
- Ability to perform a WiFi scan.

Other
- Not intended to monitor faulty equipment (e.g. aging/failing hardware issues). You should consider renewing old/failing devices in this case. Also check room temperature, device configuration/firmware and power supply (including connections). A failing power supply or slightly loose connection is a common problem for hardware connection issues.
- Not intended to monitor equipment that may perform "automatic firmware updates". This task should be manually performed when the RouterRebooter is not monitoring the equipment. This is because the monitored equipment may not respond during the upgrade phase triggering a power cycle and rendering the equipment inoperable.
- The RouterRebooter does not work with Siri, Alexa, eWeLink etc.
- The RouterRebooter is designed for Home and Small Business use only (e.g. no high security, business critical and/or life support equipment reliance on network).
- By purchasing the RouterRebooter, you understand and accept that the Hardware Manufacturer and/or Firmware Developer will not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, incidental or special damages, including, without limitation, security breaches, lost revenues/profits, lost data, loss of wellbeing/life [e.g. monitoring medical/life support equipment], damage to other equipment* as a result caused by this device.
