For Sale is one (1) Detroit Pistons vs Syracuse Nationals Basketball Program from December 18, 1957. This is the first year the Pistons played in Detroit after moving from Fort Wayne, Indiana. Program has a story about the history of the Zollner Pistons ( Zollner was a piston manufacturing company), and details of the move to Detroit and a larger sports market. Because this was the first year of professional basketball in Detroit there is also an explanation of the rules. Games were played at Olympia home of the Detroit Red Wings on a basketball court set on top of the covered ice rink. Program also has other interesting stories and statistics about players, local advertising, etc. Please see pictures for each page of the program. I was at this game as a 11 year old which is why I have this program and kept it for 68 years.

This program has not been professionally graded. However to my eye looks to be in very good condition for an item 68 years old. There are no tears, creases, insect damage, water damage etc. Shipping will be USPS First Class. The program will be placed in a plastic sleeve, sandwiched between two pieces of rigid cardboard then placed in a waterproof plastic envelope to protect from bending and any water damage.
