Here's a pair of really chunky pen/pencil combos, First a black WEAREVER and then a carmel/brown striated DU-POINT, both so marked on the clips.  The WEAREVER IS 6-1/4"  long and the DU-PONT  is just 6" long, but a little thicker than the WEAREVER. Both are lever fillers and will need new sacs. Both pencils have lead and operate via tip twist action and both have erasers. Gold plated trim is pretty good on the WEAREVER, but more wear shows on the DU-PONT. I've seen other of these large WEAREVER combos usually pretty well made like this one. It's newer I believe, probably from the early '40's. The DU-PONT I think is probably early to mid '30's and has seen more use.  The WEAREVER nib is a nice steel SUPREME (Wearever brand), a fine point in excellent condition. DU-PONT's nib is a GOLD PLATED DURIUM with no remaining plating but a fine point in good shape.
