I am selling a Sony laptop. This laptop weighs "only" 2.9 kg, as thin as they say and has a 14.1" (1024x768) screen. The laptop is in extremely good condition for its age, so good that it still has the spec stickers on it. It has been cleaned from of dust, the thermal paste was changed, the original 10 GB hard disk was replaced with another one FUJITSU of 40 GB capacity and the working memory was increased from 64 MB to 128 MB (these modules are extremely difficult to find, sd ram) and Windows XP with drivers was freshly installed. Everything I tested on the laptop is correct, the keyboard is great, the speakers are loud, the touchpad works extremely well, the CD reader reads CDs, the internet port is working (the laptop goes to the internet), etc. It has an original battery that is death, that is only problem. It comes with the original sony charger, hase windows vista sticker on it. I used the laptop to get better acquainted with older technologies and operating systems, and I think it deserves the epithet of a retro laptop because its year of production is 1998, when we add to that its cosmetic condition and the fact that it is completely correct(except battery), it deserves the epithet rare! I am selling it to someone who is interested in old technology and who would maintain it so that it will be correct for a long time. It can serve great as a gaming retro machine!
