The item that you are viewing corresponds to the book ‘Coarse Fishing Baits’ by Frank Oates published as part of the
highly collectable ‘How to Catch them’
series. The book is a first edition
published in 1958 by Herbert Jenkins Limited.
The book is being offered for sale in a good condition for its
age. The book comes with its original price-clipped dustwrapper, which has the
usual rub, shelf-wear and nibbling associated with its periphery/edges.
Specifically, the front bottom (non-spine) corner and front top (spine) corner
have small sections of the dustwrapper missing. The dustwrapper now comes
protected by a clear cellophane outer cover. The book’s light blue boards are
in an overall good clean and undamaged condition. Specifically, the top and
bottom of the spine is a little bumped. There is also a small section of
rub/bumping associated with the spine. Internally the book’s pages remain clean
and crisp. Specifically, there is some foxing associated with the page’s
outward facing edges. There is an inscription written in blue biro on the first
blank page. Please study my accompanying images for more details of this book
and its dustwrapper.
This book comes from a non-smoking and
pet-free household.
Thanks for looking and good luck.

All items tend to be sent by second class post to help reduce your
P & P costs and within two working days. Note that this is the slowest of
the English Postal Service's options. If you wish to receive your items any
quicker or by other routes (recorded, tracked etc) then please contact me and I
will provide you with a revised P & P costs. The English postal service is
usually very reliable, but items can go astray. A proof of posting will always
be obtained but I cannot be held responsible once your item enters the postal
system. That said, I will do all I can to help on these very rare occasions. I
am willing to post outside of the UK - please contact me for cost of posting
should this be required. I am very happy to combine your items in a single
package and reduce P & P costs accordingly. Once again, please contact me
and I'll provide you with a revised P & P costing. Note that your item(s)
will only be sent once payment has been received.
