Description:
The REF-1701 is a reference distribution amplifier providing differential input and internal distribution to all cards within the DENSITÉ frame requiring an audio reference signal. The differential input provides rejection of hum and other artifacts on incoming signals. Several reference signals can be locked to distribute an “URS Audio” on a card per card basis and two 48kHz Word Clock signal on external outpus. The REF-1701 also provides input validity and error detection reporting. The REF-1701 is housed in a DENSITÉ frame, and occupies slots 20 and 21. A single rear connector panel is required.
