Founded in 1976 by Norman Pattiz, the original Westwood One was one of the largest producers and distributors of radio programming in the United States. Based in New York City, they broadcast entertainment, news, weather, sports, talk, and traffic programming to about 7,700 radio stations across the United States.
In January 1981 Pattiz started recording live concerts for broadcast and became a leader in live broadcasts and concert recordings for radio until May, 2011. Westwood One was most notable for its coverage of live events, and on-location recording of concerts allowing them to provide live music to fans around the country. In October of 2011 Westwood One merged with Triton Media Group to form the current Westwood One.
The Superstar Concert Series is distributed by Westwood One Radio Networks and comes in a Westwood One sleeve with the Westwood One logo on the front. The show also comes with a cue sheet and is in excellent condition.
This two disc set features Pink Floyd & Roger Waters and was originally Broadcast in June, 1995. The show features eight live tracks - including "Another Brick in the Wall", Parts 1 & 2. Please see pictures of cue sheets for detailed track listing and timeline.
