Vintage 1940s Old English Johnson Bros Pink Carnation 23 piece Dinner set.

This dinner set consists of

6 : 10”inch Dinner Plates

6 : 8 3/4“ inch salad plates

6 : 8” inch Desert plates

1 : 14” inch serving plate

1 : 12” inch serving plate

1 : 8” inch gravy boat

2 : 10 1/2 “inch wide, 3” inch deep Terrines.

Each piece of the set has a creamy white china body with pink carnations and green stems with Old English shape with rope (gadroon) edge in gold gilt .

Each piece is back stamped Johnson Bros- crown Made in England.

Vintage condition : No chips No cracks No obvious signs of gold wear .

Some signs of utensil markings on some plate faces expected with vintage use.

The only real discrepancy I can see is , the gravy boat does have some crazing.

This set is a well looked after vintage 23 piece dinner , that could be used for special occasions. Dinner parties Christmas, Easter ect.
