This rod was designed to knock off the Lamiglas SI. I know the designers history of these okuma rods. He defected from Lamiglas right after the new SI design. He then went and sold the EXACT same build to Okuma. ( Right down to the carbon fiber sheath the bottom 1/3 of the blank has over it)

These 8’6” are the do it all length.
