This is a very good fix for a common problem with oil leaks from the gear shift on RD's
 
The steel gear shaft in time wears the aluminium crank cases and results in a constant oil leak. This modification removes the play making the gear shift more positive and less sloppy as well as providing a new seal interface. Very clever idea.
 
Simply remove the oil seal and insert the modification and new oil seal. Problem solved. No machining required.
 
The kit includes one 6082 aluminium housing with PB1 bronze bush and nitrile oil resistant O-ring, new oil seal & acetal plastic sleeve.
 
The O-ring provides an additional seal.
