Lennox Red McLendon Dan Driessen Associated Press Photo.

I’m not 100% positive on the player and the year. I did some internet research and Driessen seems to match up best with the clues in the photo: number 23, side view of face, 1st base position (not clear but looks like 1st from all the displaced dirt), and approximate time period of McLendon’s work.
