24 1/2" L x 8" Wide at Widest Point in Bowl x 6 1/2" in Depth

This is an antique handcrafted traditional mandolin that is beautifully decorated. It has its original eight keys and 7 of 8 strings.  It has 1 of 4 original inlaid decorations of mother of pearl on the neck, floral scrolls and a wonderful inlaid wooden body.  It is unmarked with no visible maker's name nor serial number.  It looks similar to several brands, such as Eugene Howard, Washburn and Oscar Schmidt. I can only offer a best guess of it being from the 1920s based on the style and comparison of very similar models.  The condition is overall good for its 100+ year age.  It has a beautiful sound quality but it is need of tuning and refurbishment.
