An antique amethyst, pearl, yellow gold, and silver brooch, set with a round cut amethyst, and ten seed pearls, set in 9 karat yellow gold, with a silver pin. 

The brooch is adorned with a pearl and amethyst dragonfly. The vibrant round cut amethyst forms the body of the dragonfly, while the shimmering seed pearls adorn the wings. An elegant gold tail swoops from the brooch, formed as 3 bars of gold. The seed pearls are pale, lustrous, shimmer beautifully in the light, and are well-matched with one another. The brooch is fitted with a silver pin, and gold C-shaped catch. The brooch is in good condition. Wear and tear acquiescent with age.

The brooch measures 13.5mm high, and 43.8mm wide. The brooch measures 6mm deep, excluding pin and fittings.
