The item that you are viewing corresponds to the book ‘Roach’ by Captain L. A. Parker published as part of the highly collectable ‘How to Catch them’ series. The book is a fifth printing published in 1961 by Herbert Jenkins Limited.

The book is being offered for sale in a poor/average condition for its age. The book comes with its original non-price-clipped dustwrapper, which has the usual rub, shelf-wear and nibbling associated with its periphery/edges. Specifically, the dustwrapper has two sections missing: one from the base of its spine, and a second, a V shaped section, missing from its rear, upper edge. The dustwrapper now comes protected by a clear cellophane outer cover. The book’s light blue boards and spine remain in a good overall condition. The top and bottom of the spine are a little bumped. Each of the board’s corners are slightly rounded. The top edges of both boards have some sun fade associated with them. Internally, the book’s pages remain clean and undamaged. Specifically, there is some fox spotting associated with their outward facing edges. There is a small ‘A S’ written in blue biro on the first plank page. Please study my accompanying images for more details of this book and its dustwrapper.

This book comes from a non-smoking and pet-free household.

Thanks for looking and good luck.

All items tend to be sent by second class post to help reduce your P & P costs and within two working days. Note that this is the slowest of the English Postal Service's options. If you wish to receive your items any quicker or by other routes (recorded, tracked etc) then please contact me and I will provide you with a revised P & P costs. The English postal service is usually very reliable, but items can go astray. A proof of posting will always be obtained but I cannot be held responsible once your item enters the postal system. That said, I will do all I can to help on these very rare occasions. I am willing to post outside of the UK - please contact me for cost of posting should this be required. I am very happy to combine your items in a single package and reduce P & P costs accordingly. Once again, please contact me and I'll provide you with a revised P & P costing. Note that your item(s) will only be sent once payment has been received.
