Vintage Verbot Tomy Robot Remote Control 5401 Voice Command Does not work.

I tested this and the remote light and robot light comes on. This looks barley used just based off the wheels and buttons. It save commands but when I told the robot to do something it did not move. Comes w instruction manual and decals unused. I did not see the eyes light up or anything else. Box has wear comes w lid and foam bottom.
