Absolutely Beautiful painting!

The Homestead was created in Acrylic paint on 3" 20x20 professional canvas. It was inspired by the feelings I have when I think of my grandparents home. It was in a secluded area and there were no asphalt roads just dirt road. This is where I found peace and happiness that I have not known since living there. While there were not mountains there , the mountains make me think of how we

as kids would go outside and yell or sing to hear echoes yelling back at us. We would run and play or just sit outside and read. I went back to the house as an adult after my grand parents died and it seemed so humble and small. I could not believe it. The trees and grasses had grown up around the house. I cried for hours. It had such memories of laughter, a knowing love and peace that wont easily be replaced.
