Period crimson half leather & marbled boards. Measures approx 7 1/4 x 5 inches.

Vol 1: 408pp, 4pp index, engraved frontispiece. Vol 2: engraved plates by Albert Henry Payne, unpaginated, but with an engraved title page, & approx 40 full page plates & 73 plates with 2 views per page.

Condition: Firm bindings, a little rubbed & with slight corner wear. Internally, Vol 1 the frontispiece is stained, title page is slightly browned, else unmarked; Vol 2 two plates are stained, & roughly another 30 are lightly foxed/browned the remainder generally clean.
