Location: Chicago, Illinois August 5 -7 th at the  Chicago Coliseum.
Nominee for President: Former  President  1901 thru 1908 Theodore Roosevelt of New York.  
Nominee for Vice President: Governor Hiram Johnson of California  1911 thru 1917

 Badge in divided into three setions: 
Top plate  view of a U.S. Capital  "DELEGATE" 
 Ribbon red, white & blue. 

Medal silvered  bust of three presidents Washington/Jefferson/Lincoln Inscription ''NATIONAL PROGRESSIVE CONVENTION  / CHICAGO / 1912"
 Badge had been mounted many years ago. I do not want to remove NOTE: The pin on the reverse is missing.
 This was purchased from the Chick Harris Collection in May 1982

Length of badge and  ribbon is 4 1/4" 
Condition: very fine as scanned  
This is a complete genuine Delegate Convention  badge worn at the the 1912 National Progressive Convention in Chicago,IL.    

Reference  this is not listed in Mr. Edward Kronen's book on  "National Political Convention Ticket, Ribbon Badges and other Political Memorabilia / Catalogue & Price Guide"  Published after the 2008 election.
