This Laptop boots up, but half the screen on the Laptop has vertical lines. As shown in the photos, the full screen does display when using an external monitor. So there is an issue with the LCD or one of the connections to the screen. Note- the external monitor shown in the photos is for demonstration purposes and is not included with this listing.
The hard drive also needs a fresh install of Windows as it struggles to complete the windows login. I do not have a copy of win 95 or 98 to do a fresh install. Since I'm limited in my ability to test it further, I'm listing it as "For parts/ Not working".
The original battery is included but it does not hold a charge and must be plugged into an AC adapter. I used a donor power adapter to demonstrate the function of this unit. The AC power adapter is not included in this listing.
The right hinge cover between the screen and the body is loose but this doesn't affect the ability to open and close the lid.
Included with the laptop is the 2Gb HDD and 1.44MB floppy drive. Look at the photos for additional details on condition of this unit.
