Metallica’s Doris T-shirt celebrates their fourth album, “And Justice For All”. The artwork on both the front and back were created by Brian “Pushead” Schroeder. The front of the shirt shows the Metallica logo and Lady Liberty holding the scales of justice with money falling from it. The lyrics that are printed on the front, “their money tips her scales again,” refers to the inequalities of justice between rich and poor. The back of the shirt, shows a hungry skull with the scales of justice and the lyrics “soon you’ll please their appetite”.
