My Observations:

• Purchased from Factory - Discontinued - NOT FACTORY SECONDS
• Very Light Weight ( e.g., Size 14 W - 1 lb, 5.4 oz )
• I would recommend for work in light manufacturing, warehousing, restaurants, healthcare, education or as casual footwear (urban hiking) and/or where ankle support is needed, etc.
• Maybe as a second pair (wear-a-day-aire-a-day) - helps extend the useful life of both pairs of boots.
• Please notice the sole is shaped and has the same material as current running/athletic and walking footwear (look for white soles on walking footwear which is very popular)
• Side zipper is well integrated into the boot.  Being non-waterproof boots there are not any material folds or other obstructions within the foot space
• For me, the pair I tried on, ran a half size short in length (i.e. If you are a 10 D, I would suggest a 10.5 D)
• To maximize longevity - use a boot horn when putting on
