After changing the toner and shutting the door a warning message appeared saying, "door open".
Opened and closed the door and all was OK. Thought nothing of it for months. Then one day got the message again but could not clear it. Not been able to print since.
My research found it is a simple repair if you have the time. Requires dismantling the underside to get at the motherboard and repair a solder joint to a switch that is activated by rod pushed closing the cartridge door.
The included cartridge is less than half used, cannot remember exactly. probably less than a 1000 pages since new.
Repairable or suitable for spares.
