It also supports up to 13 hours of stereo recording, so you can capture your performance in its entirety.


Versatile Routing and Mixing Capabilities
The RC-500's abundant inputs and outputs and streamlined interface will not hinder an artist's creative process. Mono/stereo compatible inputs and outputs, and a separate XLR microphone input jack with phantom power, two tracks can be played back alternately, Track 1 and Track 2, to develop a song, or two tracks can be played back simultaneously for complex sound The LCD backlight changes color as playback, recording, overdub, or stop is performed, allowing the user to check the status at a glance. The track fader and mic level can be adjusted directly while playing back looped phrases for smooth operation.


Control as You Like
Three footswitches on the main unit allow easy control of record/playback/stop and track switching. Up to two external footswitches can be added, allowing you to freely assign functions to suit your playing style. Continuous parameter control is also possible when an expression pedal is connected. In addition, the space-saving TRS MIDI input/output is equipped for linking with external MIDI equipment. It is useful in a variety of situations, such as tempo synchronization with drum machines and DAWs.


Customize to the optimum settings
Sound input/output and footswitches can be customized to suit the player's needs. For example, the left and right input signals can be recorded to separate tracks, or the guitar and vocal sounds can be output separately. Each footswitch can be freely customized by assigning ON/OFF for built-in effects, rhythm playback/stop, and so on. Customized settings can be saved with phrases and recalled at any time.


Rhythm and LOOP FX add dynamism to performances
The RC-500's rhythm and LOOP FX bring a lively groove to your performance. 16 drum kits and 57 preset rhythms with two variations can be combined to create a rhythm sound to suit a variety of styles. The REPEAT and SCRIPTURE kits are also available. The combination of LOOP FX, such as REPEAT and SCATTER, allows for even more dynamic live performances. The innovative reverse function can also be used to add unique arrangements to your loop performances.


From Production to Practice to Performance
The RC-500 features 99 memory locations, allowing you to save your ideas on the fly. Saved loop phrases can be backed up via USB. The RC-500 can be used not only for real-time looping performances, but also for a wide variety of other applications such as practice, live background music playback, jam sessions, and more.
