“Ice Boats” (1957) 16mm Film Home Movie, Detroit News(DN), Setup, Lake Sailing


These guys were as serious about their filmography as they were about their ice boats. Great shot set ups from a distance and on the boats. The camera was clearly mounted for all of the shots. Goggle guy with the wind in his face made me cold just watching him. Documentary quality. Great fun to watch.


FILM CONDITION:

Film appears to be in very good shape, ran fine on a vintage Revere manual thread projector and has no detectable vinegar syndrome.


FILM HOLE CONFIGURATION:

Film has double sprocket holes.
