This Antique English 19th century wall mounting Chinoiserie papier mache and lacquer letter box is in very good condition but does have some minor nicks and worn spots on the back of the box. These areas are shown in the photos. There is also craquelure on the painted portion of the front of the box which can also be seen in the photos. The topic of the scene on the box is interesting and includes a Chinese Artisan painting a monumental vase.. It is 8.5 in. high, by 6.5 in. wide, by 1.875 in. deep. Circa 1860 and guaranteed to be as described.
