This is a beautifully carved Indochina or Chinese hardwood, or teak tea caddy, or tobacco canister.

It stands high and measures diameter across the top.  We believe that it dates to the late 19th or possibly early 20th century.  It stands approximately 20 cm high and measures 9 cm in diameter at the top.  Both the lid and the middle of the caddy have intricately carved dragons on them.  There are also delicate details on the rest of the wood.  There is an age related crack on the top of the lid and a chip in the dragons tail. Please use the photographs as part of the description.
