Kinda funny.. I was the original seller of these Surge tubes back in 2012 and 2013 (check my feedback). I've had 60 of these tubes in cool storage since they put Surge back on the market, but it looks like it's evaded us once again and is no longer available for sale. I've had both the Original Surge syrup (this stuff) and the now-discontinued cans from 2014-2019 and can say that the two do taste different and that the Original, in my opinion, is better. Below is my original description for this listing!

Up for sale today are some collectible extremely-rare Surge Soda syrups. The syrup was made in May of 2000 and has been bottled into 2-oz tubes. This is the original syrup that was used to produce fountain Surge soda. I bought this syrup from a guy who's owned a convenience store in the New England area since the 90's. He happened to find some leftover sealed Surge syrup cases in his storage room and was kind enough to part with them.

This auction comes with a single 2-oz tube of Surge syrup only. Unless, of course, you choose to buy more than one. Just add soda water! I've included instructions on the back of the bottle that explain how to mix it to make a factory-mix Surge. What I do is put the syrup in first, then slowly pour the 10-oz water in (Like pouring a beer to minimize foam. In this case to preserve bubbliness). After this, do 2-3 slow stirs and you've got yourself a crisp, cold Surge straight out of a time machine from Y2k! Coca Cola says that none of their syrup has expiration dates so no worries there.
