An exceptional antique English sterling silver 8-paneled, footed bowl with repoussé floral & foliate decoration and an engraved stag within its single cartouche. In very good antique condition with expected minor tarnish--no monograms.  Hallmarked as shown: king's head, crowned leopard, date letter 'l' for 1786, maker's mark for John Wakelin & William Taylor, and lion passant.  It measures just shy of 5" across point to point by 3" high and weighs 7 ozs. troy.
