Extech HT30 Heat Stress WBGT (Wet Bulb Globe Temperature) Meter Details

The Extech HT30 is a wet bulb globe temperature measurement device that can be used to evaluate the effects of temperature, humidity and direct/radiant sunlight in various environments.

This testing device is capable of carrying out four different measurements: wet bulb globe temperature, black globe temperature, air temperature and humidity. Black globe temperature measurements can be used to monitor the direct effects of solar radiation on an exposed surface and this can be measured from 32 to 176°F (0 to 80°C) with basic accuracy of ±4°F/2°C. The HT30 can also measure wet bulb globe temperature from 32 to 122°F (0 to 50°C), air temperature from 32 to 122°ºF (0 to 50ºC) and humidity from 0 to 100% RH.

Also included on the HT30 is the ability to choose between Celsius/Fahrenheit temperature measurements, a special in/out function that can show wet bulb globe temperature values with our without direct sun exposure and this meter can also interface directly with PC via its built-in RS-232 interface.

The HT30 is compatible with Extech's 407752 software package which is available as a download from Extech's website.
