This is an antique large relief decorated schoolhouse or industrial style pendent light fixture with its original 14 inch diameter cased milk glass globe.  The designs have somewhat of a "Federal Style".

The globe was removed by an architectural salvage company from a 1902 building being torn down.  Restored and made into a fully working pendant fixture an antique solid 6 inch brass fitter, brass socket, brass plated steel canopy and hanging chain.

The globe is spectacular because of its size and detailed fluting.
From the ceiling to the bottom of the globe measures 26 inches.  The globe at the widest is 114 inches in diameter.  The globe is 11 inches tall.

It is recommended that a licensed electrician check and install any fixture to the local code requirements.
